The Egyptian Arab Contractors Company worked on renovating and restoring the Cairo Tower. The renovation process lasted for two years, starting in 2006 and continuing until 2008. The total cost of this process amounted to about 15 million pounds. The renovation process included several things, the most important of which was restoring the concrete of this tower, in addition to building three floors, building a staircase for emergency cases, and an elevator dedicated to visitors, making changes and developments to its main entrance, finishing all the facades in it, and installing new lighting outside this tower.
