Wadi El Rayan Waterfalls

It is represented in the area connecting the two lakes and is located in the Qassimat Valley. The difference in water level between the two lakes is twenty meters. It consists of three natural waterfalls in which water flows at a height of more than between forests of papyrus plants. It is an area of great beauty and scenery and is suitable for fishing without harming the ecological balance in the area. It is also suitable for marine sports such as diving, in addition to recreational and tourist activities such as horse and camel riding, golf courses in the waterfall area, vegetation cover and some geological formations. This area is considered one of the important natural components of ecological tourism and all it lacks is the provision of facilities to provide comfort for visitors. It needs a paved road as it is only 1000 meters away from the Al-Musahama Road. It also needs to provide fresh water and telephones. It also needs an overhead pedestrian bridge to connect the two sides of the waterfalls and to build some chalets to receive tourists from all over the world.

Al-Mudawara Mountain Area

The Madoura Mountain is a high plateau in the shape of a circle, opposite to it on the other side are three plateaus that closely resemble pyramids. Water flows between them in the form of a tongue from the lake. There is a beach at the bottom of the mountain that is about 500 meters long and is distinguished by being shaded by the shadow of the mountain. It is one of the most beautiful and picturesque views in the lake. This area is located near the lower lake, which is an extremely beautiful area and there is a mountain between the two breasts.

Hell Continent Area (Wadi Al-Hitan)

The Wadi Qara Gehenna area is located in the northwest of the upper lake in a remote desert area. Forty million years ago, Wadi El Rayan was under extreme ocean pressure. As a result of geological changes, the ocean was restricted, leaving behind some remaining animals. This area was named Wadi El Hitan due to the presence of traces indicating the presence of whales in it. Hundreds of fossilized skeletons of some early whale species, shark teeth, shells and other marine animals have been discovered. There is a complete whale skeleton on display at the Egyptian Geological Museum. This area is considered an open museum where large gatherings of these whale species can be seen. Wadi El Hitan is distinguished by the presence of many selected sites.
